Sean memorializes...

When I was a kid growing up near Manassas, my father one Easter introduced me to the film that was the next step to me being obsessed with old films. I know my sisters Holly and Mikelle looked forward to my monopolization of the television Easter mornings for almost 5 hours when Ben-Hur (1959) came on! I never thought he was a great actor but Charlton Heston gave us some great moments in his Oscar-winning epic, The Planet of the Apes, Touch of Evil (as a Mexican police officer), The Ten Commandments, and The Big Country (his best acting gig in my opinion). So in honor of Heston (and not his politics) I would like to share this clip of some of his best film moments.

Aw, I liked him. And I liked the fact that he had real integrity with what he believed, you know? I have The Planet of the Apes on my DVR, think I better watch it this week. And it's time to revisit Ben-Hur, for certain. Good eye candy memories.

Hm, gotta watch that one, too. Imagine if it was remade now, exactly as it was then, but with a contemporary sensibility to the acting. It would be way hot. Possibly the technicality of parting the Red Sea could be stepped up a notch as well. Okay, done here.

I always respect a man who stands up for his convictions. He will be missed.

We are trying to forget it... thanks for reminding us!

I didn't even know he died..... He was a great actor.... and gave a lot of good shows..... he will definitely be missed but with his talent he has left a legacy to us all which is more than what others can say....
