My iTunes surfing served me well the other day! Stumbled across this great new album from NYC DJ Mark Ronson. My favorite song so far from the $9.99 album is titled Valerie (no it is NOT the Steve Winwood 80s song) with vocal from Brit pop star Amy Winehouse. The lyrics are very 2000s but the Motown sound beat is incredible! Another great song on here is Apply Some Pressure with Paul Smith. Stef and I basically broke into a spontaneous pony dance with this song this afternoon! Great 1960s sound with the brass (The Daptone Horns rock the whole album!) and the 60s wafting violins! If you want dramatic music to enter a room to this one has that song!
