Sean spends Saturday mornings discovering and listening to music online with a cup of hot coffee in his hand...

This is what I found this morning. Lucky Soul is a British band that has that great retro sound that Mark Ronson captures so well too. Here are two songs from them.

Like the second song a lot. She looks a bit like Deborah Harry with a Duffy sound. Thanks.

This is why I think I really like them. The lead singer isn't as deep in tone as Debbie Harry but she is of the same vein. The other great thing about this band is its concentration on the instrumental part of their creations. The band behind the lead is well mannered and supports her very well. I am a sucker for good drums too. Now if I could just get this band or Debbie Harry to our wedding... hmm?
