One of the worst songs ever written, Muskrat Love by Captain and Tennille is so sweet sounding until you realize what its about! So bad it makes me howl with laughter every time. It may make you groan but this video just sells the hilarity!
Quick funny story! My parents had both The Blues Brothers and the Captain and Tennille 8-Tracks... somehow a button was pushed and songs went from one 8-Track to another. My sisters and I cackled in anticipation when we heard Soul Man start up. "Shhh!!! Here it comes," one of us would yell. And Muskrat Love pounced like a hawk on a field mouse out of the giant speakers. Our mom would roll here eyes and just chuckle at our simple pleasure. Good times!
Now if Stefan only knew that this is a definite starter song at our wedding late next year! (evil laugh)
