Moore </strong>and <strong>David Eick</strong> took on a science fiction sacred cow and recreated it into a TV miniseries and later a brand new cable TV series. <strong>Battlestar Galactica</strong> was resurrected from its 1978 - 1979 grave and given a new look. Many thought the &quot;recreation&quot; would suck and die hard fans thought it would do a disservice to the original <strong>Lorne Greene </strong>helmed show. They were wrong.
